Reasonably priced pay and display car parking is available directly opposite the hotel, with disabled spaces. Hotel staff were polite and very helpful. The restaurant serves a varied menu with something for most tastes, including gluten-free and vegan options. Additionally, there is a well stocked bar that also serves non-alcoholic drinks. The room was clean, comfortable, and well furnished, although the seat provided for the desk/dressing table was not ideal. Other than that, this guest rates the hotel highly.

Been in tonight, as we’d won a voucher at my nephews school for a 3-course meal for 2 people. The food was amazing and delicious. Never eaten here before, but would happily go again. Took my 8 month old, intended on fully paying for her meal, as it was £6. But Terence took her meal off the bill, which was totally unexpected. Brilliant staff, amazing team and yummy food. My daughter absolutely enjoyed it too. Will be back again🫶🏻

Visited with friends who had moved to the area & had recommended it. It was a cold day but it was lovely & warm inside sat on comfy sofa next to real fire. Good atmosphere & welcomed dogs which was nice to see. Only slight niggle was no cutlery given with sandwich so had nothing to eat side salad with but think this was just oversight on a busy Saturday afternoon.

Nice comfy seats and atmosphere. However, my partner asked for a Diet Coke without ice and they put ice in the glass. When asked to remove the bartender poured the coke over her hand to remove the ice. When my partner and friend said what happened I went to the bar to ask for a fresh drink. The bartender told me my friends were liars and walked away. A man behind the bar who I believe was the manager made me a fresh drink. We didn’t order any more as we’re afraid of what might be done to the drinks.
